Friday and maybe the last day at work before vacation?
Holidays are special for many reasons. New experiences, relaxing from busy weekdays, staying up late and sharing life with those we love.
It's summer, and it's my annual time to think, let go, and find inspiration. I keep HEDGE like a well-tended garden; the flowers look nice, the grass is fresh and neatly cut, and it all looks harmonious and beautiful, surrounded by sturdy old trees and ripe fruit.
Summer is my time to let the garden grow wild in my imagination, so that I can harvest beautiful flowers the rest of the year in the form of new ideas for HEKNE.
My real garden too, of course, even though it's never very well-kept... It feels good to let it grow freely and wildly during the summer holidays.
I come home with new ideas that have blossomed, like the flowers I didn't know existed among the grass in the lawn, that were just waiting to be left alone for a while before they showed up – beautiful, new, unexpected.
