Washing: We recommend that you avoid washing the wool sweater. This will preserve the wool's natural properties and extend the garment's lifespan. Try airing the sweater instead, outdoors or indoors. Leave it for at least a day to neutralize odors. Try to remove stains without washing the entire garment. If you must wash the entire garment: Dry clean or gentle machine wash on a wool program with wool detergent or by hand, max 30 degrees. Gently reshape the garment while wet. Dry flat. Pilling: use a good electric defuzzer and shave, rather than brushing with a comb or brush, to avoid loosening new fibers from loosely spun yarn.

The yarn is dyed and spun just 10 kilometers from the knitwear factory.
The knitted sweater is made by skilled artisans in Italy and is knitted "fully fashioned". This means that the different parts of the sweater are knitted in their final shape - instead of being cut from a larger knitted piece - which results in neater seams and no superfluous waste.
Garment history
The pattern of this sweater resembles both the Goose Eye weaving pattern and the traditional knitting patterns from the Swedish region of Halland. "Binge", which is a Halland word for knitting, was the name given to these patterns for circular knitting.
Today, the term is used for the two-colored, traditional patterns with geometric shapes, which have been preserved from the area since the 17th century.
For us, this design started with a knitting sample with a completely different look. We sent the sample swatch to the factory as a reference, but then we received this pattern on the first prototype in return.
The truth is, we liked this pattern better and decided to keep it. Who knows where the artisans at the factory got the pattern from?
For us, it was a lucky "mistake" that led us to a new favorite. This is the fourth version of our popular sweater - this time as a cardigan.
