Maintenance
Maintenance
We recommend that you avoid washing your wool sweater. This will preserve the wool's natural properties and softness for much longer, and extend the life of the garment. Try airing the sweater instead, outside or inside. Leave it for at least a day to neutralize odors. Try to remove stains without washing the entire garment. If you need to wash the entire garment: Dry clean or machine wash on a gentle cycle with wool detergent or by hand, max 30 degrees. Gently shape the garment while it is wet. Dry flat.

The yarn is dyed and spun just 10 kilometers away from the knitwear factory.
The sweater is made by skilled craftsmen in Italy and is knitted "fully fashioned". This means that the different parts of the sweater are knitted in their final shape - instead of being cut out of a larger knitted piece - which results in neater seams and no excess scraps.
The story of the garment
The pattern of this sweater is similar to both the Goose Eye weave pattern and the traditional knitting patterns from the Swedish region of Halland. "Binge", which is the Halland word for knitting, was the name given to these circular knitting patterns.
The term is today used to refer to the two-colored, traditional patterns with geometric shapes, which have been preserved in the area since the 17th century.
For us, this design started with a knitting sample with a completely different look. We sent the sample to the factory as a reference, but then this was the pattern we got back on the first prototype.
The truth is, we liked this pattern better and decided to keep it. Who knows where the craftsmen at the factory got the pattern from?
For us, it was a lucky "mistake" that led us to a new favorite. This is the third version of our popular sweater. This time in a beautiful Italian yarn and with a cooler color palette.
