A darning eggs is a great little helper when you're repairing clothes by hand. They make sewing easier and help you maintain the shape of the garment, which otherwise tends to be tighter in the area where you're repairing it. Hold the garment around the egg while you work and leave it as tight as it would be on your body when worn.

Compared to a darning mushroom, which is great for darning socks, the darning egg goes everywhere and is perfect for the smallest repairs.

The egg is 6 cm long and made by Redecker in Germany, from untreated beech.

Redecker has been producing brushes since 1935. Today, it's the third generation of the family that runs the factory in Versmold. Redecker is known for its high quality and functional design. Today, their range also includes other products in addition to brushes - all made from natural materials and renewable resources.
