Size guide

Measure your own body to find the right size:

Measurements in cm.

The model is 166 cm tall and is wearing size S.

Materials and origin

100% wool. Spun by Top Lane and knitted by Maglificio Bartolini, in Italy.

Maintenance

We recommend that you avoid washing your wool sweater. This will preserve the wool's natural properties and softness for much longer, and extend the life of the garment. Try airing the sweater instead, outside or inside. Leave it for at least a day to neutralize odors. Try to remove stains without washing the entire garment. If you need to wash the entire garment: Dry clean or machine wash on a gentle cycle with wool detergent or by hand, max 30 degrees. Gently shape the garment while it is wet. Dry flat.

Super soft sweater in light and airy wool. The timeless design and soft, beige hue make it a versatile piece in your basic wardrobe.

The story of the garment

When we decided to move all production to Europe, we were in contact with several talented manufacturers in Italy. One of them wanted to show us a garment from their own collection, and sent us an example of a classic raglan sweater in light, soft wool from a manufacturer located just a few minutes from their own factory premises.

We liked the wool yarn, but not the design otherwise. The starting point was still easy to work from; we changed a striped structure pattern to seed stitch, as well as a few measurements, and then we had the light, high-necked sweater that we were missing in our collection.

Seed stitch is a technique that has been used for hundreds of years; probably first in embroidery and later in knitting. It can also be translated into a simple basket weave pattern: every other stitch over and under, both in rows and columns. The seed stitch is discreet, but gives the sweater a different look than if it had been made in stockinette stitch.

Both the color and the design make for a timeless sweater that we can combine with most outfits. That's always nice to have in a wardrobe!
