Jacket made of undyed, 100% wool, treated only with water and soap. The colors are natural and the houndstooth pattern gives the jacket a soft and feminine look - a nice contrast to the more rough design.

Description and fit

  • Side pockets
  • Wide silhouette and loose, oversized fit
  • Drawstring at the waist that can be tightened for a more body-hugging fit and to change the look of the jacket
  •  Buttons for narrower sleeves and extra protection in wind or cold weather

The jacket is great on its own in the fall or spring, and has room for several layers underneath to keep you warm on the colder winter days.

Production

  • Outer fabric in 100% wool
  • Undyed and unbleached wool, treated with soap and water only
  • Lined with 100% organic cotton

The story of the garment

This jacket, like many of our pieces, was inspired by a vintage garment; a classic cotton windbreaker, found at a thrift store in Copenhagen. We like the look of the windbreaker and wanted to try swapping it out for a different material. Contrasts and new combinations, both in style, color and application, can create exciting new designs.

Our jacket became a simplified version of the original windbreaker, with fewer pockets and buttons, but still with elements that show where it comes from. We like the original expression which is a bit "masculine" and oversized, together with the wool fabric which is soft and more "feminine" in both color shades and texture.
