Maintenance
We recommend that you avoid washing your wool sweater. This will preserve the wool's natural properties and extend the life of the garment. Try airing the sweater instead, outside or inside. Leave it for at least a day to neutralize odors. Try to remove stains without washing the entire garment. If you must wash the entire garment: Dry clean or machine wash on a gentle cycle with wool detergent or by hand, max 30 degrees. Gently shape the garment while it is wet. Dry flat.

The sweater is made by skilled craftsmen in Italy and is knitted "fully fashioned". This means that the various parts of the sweater are knitted in their final shape - instead of being cut out of a larger knitted piece - which results in neater, more elastic and comfortable seams, and no excess scraps.
The yarn is dyed and spun just 10 kilometers away from the knitwear factory.
The history of the garment
The white wagtail belongs to the Motacillidae family. Its plumage is black, gray and white, and it is easily recognizable due to the white mask around its eyes and its characteristic swaying of its long tail when it walks or runs on the ground.
We find the white wagtail all over Norway and in almost all European countries. Most of the Norwegian birds go further south during winter, and return to Norway in April-May. With it it brings signs of good and bad luck and other superstitions that have been associated with the little bird throughout time.
With the white wagtail we celebrate spring: the return of blue skies, the changing temperatures, the sun that first appears shyly and soon after with overwhelming strength. Dripping roofs, the cracking ice that gives way to new water that rushes powerfully from its confined slumber in the mountain peaks and down towards the freedom of the valley.
In the spring the white wagtail will return to fly over the Nordic part of our world. Between clouds and sharp rays of sunlight. Perhaps seeking shelter from the rain, competing with the sound of stormy winds with its song. Greeting the new sun with its wagging tail.
